"Getting the Love You Want" is a 20-hour weekend workshop for couples seeking to reclaim the joy and purpose of being together while using their relationship for personal change and growth.

Imago theory focuses on the belief that our own fears and learned patterns of behavior prevent us from getting the love we desire.  The workshop offers couples the tools to identify and remove obstacles that stand in the way of a more fulfilling partnership.

		Are near break-up or divorce and want to know if the relationship can be saved

The workshop  was developed by Harville Hendrix, Ph.D.,  founder of the Institute for Imago Relationship Therapy.  Studies show that this workshop can have the same results as three to six months of couples therapy.

WORKSHOP FORMAT
The workshop is planned to help you design and build the relationship you desire.  The weekend includes brief lectures, written exercises, guided imagery, demonstrations of specific communication skills and opportunities to practice what you are learning.  Partners share personal experiences only with each other and confidentiality is maintained in a safe and comfortable environment.

REGISTRATION
Space is limited.  Early registration is encouraged.  The fee for the 20-hour workshop is $695 per couple; this includes tuition, two workbooks, and refreshments.  The registration fee must be paid in full two weeks prior to the workshop. A deposit of $300 will reserve a place for you.  Previous workshop attendees may attend for $400.

CANCELLATIONS
If you cancel eight days or more prior to the workshop you will receive a full refund minus a $50 administration fee.  No fees will be refunded if you cancel seven days or less prior to the workshop.

A FINAL NOTE:
Plan to attend the entire weekend workshop.  There will be short breaks throughout the day with a 90-minute break for lunch.  Dress comfortably.  For maximum benefit, leave family and business obligations behind.  Take this opportunity to give full attention to your relationship.

NOTE TO THERAPISTS:
The Institute of Imago Relationships  of greater Chicago is authorized by the state of Illinois to provide 18 continuing education units to professional social workers (LCSW) and counselors (LCPC) for attending this workshop.
